Master Artists Piano Performing Studio is founded by Michelle Jo Santoso, who has produced many prize-winning students locally, nationally and internationally. Her students are winners of various Awards; the prestigious FROM THE TOP AWARDS with live radio broadcast, Young Musicians Foundation Scholarship Awards, Seattle International Piano Competition, Finland International Piano Competition, International Russian Music Competition, Singapore International Piano Competition, International Young Artists Competition in Washington, D.C., The Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, International Young Musicians Competition, The Kaufman Music Center International Piano Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, Classics Alive Young Artist Concert Series, American Protege International Piano Competition, International Association of Professional Music Teachers, Emerging Artists Competition, Cypress College Piano Competition, Long Beach Music Festival, California Association of Professional Music Teachers, Music Teachers' Association of California, Southern California Junior Bach Festival Complete Works Audition, etc. Many students have performed in Walt Disney Concert Hall, Merkin Hall, Carnegie Hall, Alex Theatre, etc. Students have been invited to live audition in Curtis Institute of Music, got accepted to the Juilliard School, and many top music conservatories.

Mrs. Santoso's unique teaching method along with her deep sensitivity toward musical interpretation guides each student's understanding and interpretation of the musical idea in piano performance. Mrs. Santoso has been performing in numerous music festivals in Europe for several years, including with Bratislava Chamber Orchestra, Wiener Residenz Orchester in Austria, and numerous chamber music performance in Czech Republic and Italy. She was also a winner in The Los Angeles Liszt Piano Competition, etc. Our mentorship is to closely guide each student's goal and expectation and to listen to each of their individual needs to be well rounded and fulfilled on their music journey.
